President-elect Joe Biden on Friday called for COVID-19 relief packages to be passed both before and after his inauguration.
"Any package passed in the lame duck session is not enough. It's just the start," Biden said in a statement. "Congress will need to act again in January."
There's growing bipartisan support for a $908 billion stimulus, with Congress under increasing pressure to pass another bill as COVID-19 cases rise across the US.
